Manchester Academy of English is an English Language School accredited by the British Council and a member of English UK and English UKnorth, a consortium of recognised English Language establishments located in the UK.

We offer General English Standard/Intensive/Super-Intensive Courses (with or without excursions), Standard/Intensive/Group Business English, University of Cambridge Examination Courses for non-native English-speakers (FCE/CAE/CPE), University of Cambridge Examination Courses for teachers (CELTA full-time and part-time and DELTA part-time), IELTS, TOEIC, TOEFL, TKT, Summer Programmes for adults and an All-inclusive Residential Programme (General English Standard with football and excursions).

The teachers at Manchester Academy of English are highly qualified to meet the requirements of the British Council in Britain`s accreditation scheme. We are an official Cambridge examination centre and in addition to this we run IELTS and TOEIC exam preparation courses. All of our staff are very approachable and many of them have lived abroad so they understand the needs of foreign students.

Tuition takes place in the heart of Manchester. The maximum number of students in each class is 12 and the average number is 10. We are just a short walk from Manchester Piccadilly Train Station, Bus Station and tram stops and we are surrounded by numerous shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, hotels and supermarkets.

Last year our English Language School welcomed students from over 50 nationalities; many great friendships start here!
